3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham (heel) was expected to be activated from the injured list on Tuesday. However, it has now become clear that he is not eligible to return until Friday. He hasn't played since May 21, but the fact that the team called up outfielder Brian O'Grady early after he was optioned to Triple-A meant that the team couldn't make Grisham's stint on the injured list retroactive to May 21. Grisham has been sidelined with a heel bruise, but he's been regularly working out and it sounds as if he'll be ready to go once he's eligible on Friday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
