1 year agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Tre Jones is expected to move to the bench this season, but he's ready to contribute in whichever role. "No matter if I'm starting or coming off the bench, it will always be the same," Jones told Tom Orsborn of The San Antonio Express-News. "I've got to be a leader for us. I've got to continue to set my teammates up as many ways as possible, be an extension of coach on the court, be aggressive on the defensive end and try to help us win any way possible." Jones started 65 of 68 games last season, averaging 12.9 points, 3,6 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.3 steals. It's unlikely he will reach the same numbers as a reserve, although the versatile guard should still feature heavily in the rotation.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
