Trail Blazers Have Reportedly Made An Offer To Edy Tavares
2 years agoCenter Edy Tavares could be heading back to the NBA, with Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews writing that the Real Madrid man has received an offer from the Portland Trail Blazers. Tavares was drafted by Atlanta in the second round back in 2014, but the seven-foot-three giant failed to establish himself in the league and played in only 13 games before landing in Madrid. Urbonas writes that Tavares is now "eager to test himself in the NBA again" and that Portland has a multi-year offer on the table for him. Tavares is the EuroLeague's all-time leader in blocks and has been voted to the All-EuroLeague First Team for three consecutive years. Adding him would certainly be an intriguing move by the Blazers.
