Trae Young Caps Off Preseason With A Double-Double
1 year agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young had a double-double in Friday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds while adding two steals. The 25-year-old had trouble finding the bottom of the net in this one, going 5-for-16 from the field and 2-for-7 from deep. He also had five turnovers. Without question, Young is one of the best players in the National Basketball Association, logging career averages of 25.5 points and 9.3 assists. He'll need to take better care of the ball, which has been an issue, and his three-point efficiency could also improve. That said, with Quin Snyder at the helm, Young's outlook for the 2023-24 campaign appears brighter than ever.
