6 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Torrey Smith (knee) has been ruled out for Week 8 against the Ravens. Smith is a deep threat but mostly posts mediocre results for fantasy owners. In PPR leagues, he doesn't serve much of a purpose aside from being a bench stash. In his absence, rookie D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel should see increased workloads behind Devin Funchess, but they're hard to trust in starting lineups against a very stingy Ravens defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
