Tony Pollard Not A Starting Option In Week 2
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard is not a good starting option in Week 2 fantasy lineups. Pollard would shoot up into the RB2 ranks if starter Ezekiel Elliott were to miss time, but as things stand, he is little more than a change-of-pace option in the Dallas offense. In Week 1, Pollard received seven touches, rushing three times for 14 yards and adding four catches for 29 yards. He may see more touches in the second halves of games where the Cowboys have comfortable leads, but that's unlikely to happen in Week 2 against a Los Angeles Chargers team that looked impressive in Week 1. Pollard should be rostered as a direct backup to Elliott, but has little standalone value.
