Tony Pollard Likely Back To His Usual Role In Week 7
4 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard saw a bit more play in Week 6 after starter Ezekiel Elliott fumbled twice in the first half. Starting over in Week 7, Pollard is almost sure to take a back seat to Elliott again, unless Elliott puts the ball on the ground again. Pollard got 10 chances to run the ball last week, gaining 31 yards. He was also targeted four times in the passing game, catching two for another nine yards. It was his first game with double-digit touches after a previous high of eight. He remains an extremely valuable backup and should be rostered, but he should not be started as long as Elliott remains on the field.
