Tony Pollard Could Be The Lead Back In Week 8
2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard could be the Cowboys lead back in Week 8 and would immediately be a top-10 option. With Ezekiel Elliott (knee) missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to a knee injury and a deep thigh bruise, it's hard to imagine him being able to start on Sunday. That would leave Pollard with a near every-down role. Even while playing clearly behind Elliott, Pollard has been able to put up RB2 finishes in all but two weeks of the season so far. If Elliott is out or severely limited, Pollard is a must-start RB1 in all formats.
