5 months agoTony Finau was one poor Saturday round away from truly being in the mix at the U.S. Open last week, but the third-place finish continued a marvelous stretch of play that began at the end of March. The 34-year-old was runner-up at the Houston Open three months ago, and since then he's placed in the top 20 five times in seven events. Finau's approach numbers have been incredible, but what's shown up most surprisingly in his last two appearances has been strong chipping and putting. The Utah native had a string of missed cuts at TPC River Highlands from 2019 to 2021, but he bounced back to log 13th- and 45th-place finishes the past two years. Finau will need his putter to get hot if he's going to win what should be a scoring contest at the Travelers, but his form is good enough to back at $8,900 on DraftKings this week.--Tommy Bell
