3 months agoTony Ferguson suffered a first-round submission loss to Michael Chiesa at UFC Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Ferguson entered the bout on a seven-fight losing streak and early on, he struggled with Chiesa's hook. Ferguson was then taken down early and he gave up his back, which allowed Chiesa to sink in the rear-naked choke and forced the tap in the first round. With the loss, Ferguson becomes the first UFC fighter to ever lose eight straight fights and it likely ends his UFC career. He did hint at retirement after the fight but wouldn't fully commit to it.--Cole Shelton
