Tommy Pham Scores Twice Sunday Versus Toronto
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham scored two runs versus the Blue Jays Sunday. He reached base three times in the game and came around to score both times. In fact, his two runs were the first two of the game. Over his past six games, he is 12-23 with six walks. Pham also has scored eight runs, hit three homers and driven in seven. He added a stolen base Sunday. His batting average with the Rays is now .347 with a .444 on-base percentage. Pham is very talented but had some struggles which helped make him available before the trade deadline. He offers double-digit power and steals (13 this season) athleticism and is still young enough to fit in with the youth movement the Rays are undergoing.
