6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham (groin) was held out of Wednesday's game in hopes that the extra off day Thursday will allow him to be even more likely to be healthy on Friday. The Rays did say that Pham could have played Wednesday but it was by choice that he was held out. His batting average could use work but he has double digits in both homers and steals, giving his owners multiple ways he can help them. There are plenty of leagues where he is useful.--Jamie Mellor
