Tommy Pham Homers Wednesday Versus The Yankees
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham continued a torrid stretch of games Wednesday versus New York. He would score twice in the game, reach base three times and connect for a solo homer. The solo shot would be his seventh with the Rays and 21st overall in 2018. Over his last eight games, Pham has scored 12 runs, four HR, and eight RBI. His batting average with the Rays is now .346 with a .449 on-base percentage. Pham is very talented but had some struggles which helped make him available before the trade deadline. He offers double-digit power and steals (13 this season) athleticism and is still young enough to fit in with the youth movement the Rays are undergoing.
