Tommy Pham Homers Saturday Versus Toronto
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham would continue his productive stretch Saturday versus the Blue Jays. He would drive a ball into the stands to score the only run of the game. It was his 20th HR of the season overall between the Cardinals and Rays. Over the last five games, he is 11-for-21 with four walks. Over those five games, Pham has six runs scored, three homers and seven RBI. His batting average with the Rays is now .345 with a .436 on-base percentage. Pham is very talented but had some struggles which helped make him available before the trade deadline. He offers double-digit power and steals (12 this season) athleticism and is still young enough to fit in with the youth movement the Rays are undergoing.
