Tommy Milone Signs With Orioles
5 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles signed starting pitcher Tommy Milone to a minor league deal on Thursday, according to an industry source. Milone will be a non-roster invite in spring training. The 32-year-old lefty, 33 on Sunday, went 4-10 with a weak 4.76 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 23 outings (six starts) for the Mariners last year in 111 2/3 innings. Milone has mostly been a swingman/spot starter each of the last three seasons, which obviously doesn't make him very attractive in fantasy, no matter the format. Given the sad state of Baltimore's roster, Milone might actually have a chance to make some starts again in 2020. At best, Milone might be a streamer in deep AL-only leagues.
