Tommy Edman Drives In Five In Blowout Win Wednesday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals shortstop Tommy Edman had a big game at the plate in a 14-5 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday. Edman went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, a homer, a walk, three runs, and five RBI in the lopsided win. Although the veteran infielder fell just a single shy of hitting for the cycle, he did rip a three-run homer off of Arizona starter Madison Bumgarner in the third inning. Edman is off to a solid start for the Cardinals this season, hitting .274 with two homers, nine runs, seven RBI, and a steal across 62 at-bats.
