San Jose Sharks forward Tomas Hertl recorded a goal and two assists on Thursday night as the Sharks fell short to the Blackhawks. Hertl primarily did his damage on the power play, picking up a goal and an assist on the man advantage, but he was given plenty of opportunity at even strength as well as he led all San Jose forwards with 21:51 minutes of time on ice. Despite being considered the Shark's second center has seen more than 20 minutes of time on ice in six of his last seven games and has converted that into three goals and two assists. The breakout season for Hertl has continued, putting him 22 points higher than his previous career high, and it will be worth watching to see if he can carry that production into next season.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
