6 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (back) didn't play in the team's preseason opener on Thursday against the Redskins because he's dealing with a sore back, according to a league source. He's also had a lighter practice workload in the last week. The Pats are most likely being extra cautious with Tom Terrific, and he probably wouldn't have played much, if at all, on Thursday. Brady should be totally fine for Week 1 and remains an elite QB1 as he ages.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
