Tom Brady May Want Antonio Brown With Him
5 years agoSuitors of quarterback Tom Brady in free agency were under the impression that Brady wanted free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown to come with him to his next team. The NFL says that Brown's status remains under review while he's investigated for sexual misconduct and battery. It's unclear how long that process will play out, and if he's even cleared to play again in the NFL, there's no telling whether the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or any other team would even entertain signing him. Brown was released from the Raiders last year before the Patriots picked him up. He played in one game with Brady, catching four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown before he was released for a second time. It might be a long shot that he plays in the NFL again, but a wide receiver room of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Brown would almost be unfair.
