5 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley (knee) "appears to be fine" heading into Week 1, and the Rams "want to keep it that way come Dec./Jan." As expected, the team will likely manage his touches and snap counts, "especially through the first part of the season." The Rams will still feature Gurley as their main offensive weapon, but they're going to cut back on his usage considerably, which makes him a risky low-end RB1 target in the early rounds. Malcolm Brown is also more attractive later in drafts and is a necessary handcuff for Gurley owners.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
