Todd Frazier Goes Deep Against Rockies
New York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier largely struggled upon his return from the disabled list in early June, but in recent days he seems to have gotten into a bit of a groove. In a 6-4 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, Frazier finished 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and an RBI. It marks the sixth time in the last seven games Frazier has picked up a hit, though Thursday’s effort was his first home run over that span. He’s now slashing .225/.319/.405 with eight home runs, 24 runs scored, and 29 RBI on the year. If he stays healthy, he should rebound to a fair extent in the season’s second half.
