Titans D/ST Looks To Capitalize On Another Jaguars Matchup
2 weeks agoThe Tennessee Titans defense/special teams unit has had its ups and downs in recent weeks, with only two of their last four games resulting in positive fantasy points. However, in Week 17, they are faced with a Jacksonville Jaguars offense averaging just 18.5 points per game this season–sixth-worst in the league. The last time these two teams met was just three weeks ago–a game in which Tennessee held the Jags to 10 points, forced two interceptions and recorded a sack. While the Titans have struggled on the defensive side of the ball this season, allowing 27.8 points per game on average (second-worst in the league), Jacksonville's underwhelming ability to score and the nature of their previous matchup makes the Titans D/ST a serviceable starting option this week.
