Titans Agree With Blaine Gabbert
7 years agoThe Tennessee Titans agreed to sign free-agent quarterback Blaine Gabbert on Tuesday. Gabbert wound up starting five games in 2017 for the Cardinals after injuries to Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton, and he went 2-3 while throwing for 1,086 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions. He predictably wasn't all that great, though, with a 55.6 completion percentage, and he was benched in Week 15. With Tennessee moving on from Matt Cassel in the offseason, Gabbert will serve as the backup to Marcus Mariota in his new digs.
