Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Timothy Liljegren (undisclosed) is questionable for Saturday's game against the visiting New York Rangers. The 24-year-old missed Tuesday's loss to the Vegas Golden Knights as well as Thursday's victory over the Arizona Coyotes due to an undisclosed ailment. Liljegren also missed significant time earlier in the season due to a high-ankle sprain suffered in a Nov. 11 game against the Boston Bruins, costing him six weeks of action. Liljegren has registered two goals and 16 points across 40 games on the season while averaging a career-high 19:27 of average ice time per game. He has also added 57 hits and 87 blocked shots to his ledger. The Maple Leafs are winners of seven of their last eight games heading into Saturday's tilt with the red-hot Rangers.--Brenton Kemp
