2 years agoAccording to Mets skipper Buck Showalter, outfielder Tim Locastro (thumb) may need surgery. The 30-year-old hasn't done anything all season, going hitless in seven at-bats (11 games). Unfortunately, while working his way back from back spasms at Triple-A Syracuse, he suffered a UCL sprain in his right thumb and found his way to the 60-day injured list on Friday. That said, Locastro hasn't offered anything to fantasy managers in 2023, so the latest update on his health won't mean a thing.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
