Tiger Woods In Contention After Third-Round 66
6 years agoTiger Woods fired a sparkling five-under par 66 in the third round of the Open Championship Saturday. The score launched Woods up the leaderboard into a tie for sixth. The three-time Open champion played his opening nine in three-under par and ran his score to all the way to six-under par before bogeying the 16th hole. The bogey was the only blemish on his score card on an action-packed Saturday, that saw the lowest scores of the tournament from the field. Woods will attempt to capture his 15th major championship Sunday. He will begin his final round four shots behind a trio of players that sit at nine-under par.
