8 months agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko is listed as week to week with a lower-body injury but will return before postseason play begins. "Yes. I'm not worried about that at all," Canucks coach Rick Tocchet said about Demko's availability for the postseason. The 28-year-old leads the NHL with 34 wins on the season, his seventh in the NHL. He has posted a 2.47 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage across 49 appearances while his 18.29 goals saved above average ranks second in the league only to Connor Hellebuyck's 25.54 mark. Casey DeSmith is set for regular starts for the Canucks who sit second overall in the NHL standings with a 42-17-7 record on the season.--Brenton Kemp
