Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko (knee) will be back in the lineup for Friday's meeting with Columbus. He will dress as Kevin Lankinen's backup. Demko has yet to play this season due to a knee injury. It's possible he will make his first start of the campaign on Sunday versus Tampa Bay. Demko should resume his duties as Vancouver's No. 1 between the sticks, although Lankinen has put in impressive performances during his absence. The Finnish netminder enters Friday's action with a 12-3-3 record. He recently posted a new NHL record for the longest road winning streak to start a season. Lankinen picked up 10 consecutive away wins before finally being defeated 3-2 in overtime against Minnesota on Tuesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
