Texans’ C.J. Stroud Effective In Defeat Of Bills

Stroud had a mostly productive day on Sunday against Buffalo, finishing 28-for-38 for 331 yards with one touchdown, one interception, and one fumble in a 23-20 win. Stroud completed passes to eight different receivers and helped set up kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn's 59-yard field goal as time expired with a late completion to backup running back Dare Ogunbowale. The Ohio State product completed his first 10 passes of the game, which included a 67-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Nico Collins in the first quarter. The 23-year-old quarterback has helped Houston to a 4-1 record through five weeks with a trip to New England on the horizon in Week 6.
