Tevin Coleman Performs Well Friday
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman put in a good performance Friday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Coleman rushed the ball five times for 35 yards, averaging seven yards per rush. It is interesting to see that the Falcons have been choosing not to play Devonta Freeman, but keeping Coleman active. That suggests Coleman is still competing to remain the Falcons backup running back. This performance as the starter in this game will have helped to cement his place as the Falcons backup entering the season. Coleman should have fantasy value, even with Devonta Freeman healthy, as the Falcons will allow both of their running backs to see plenty of time on the field.
