Tevin Coleman Not A Viable Week 2 Starter
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman saw only six offensive snaps in Week 1. On the bright side, he was utilized by the offense in each of those six snaps, earning four carries and two targets. He compiled 24 total yards in the game. At this point, Coleman is nothing more than a handcuff for the team's No. 1 running back Raheem Mostert. Jerick McKinnon also plays a big role in the offense. McKinnon saw 19 snaps in Week 1 and had three carries and five targets. Coleman would be more likely to step into primary ball-carrying duties if Mostert were to go down, but regardless, Mostert is healthy and coming off a fantastic Week 1. Coleman can remain on waivers in most leagues and isn't a viable starting option for Week 2.
