Tevin Coleman Lacking Defined Role For Week 16
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman might have an opportunity for extra work in Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals now that the team will be without Raheem Mostert (ankle), their No. 1 back. However, it's tough to bank on. Jeff Wilson Jr. figures to be the team's primary rusher this week, and Jerick McKinnon should see most of the work in the passing game, leaving Coleman without a defined role. Coleman logged just six snaps in Week 15 while McKinnon logged 14 and Wilson logged 39. Mostert played 25 snaps last week, so there will be extra opportunities to go around, but Coleman might only receive a few of those extra opportunities. He shouldn't be considered as a starting option in most fantasy leagues in Week 16.
