1 year agoComing off a solid game in Week 17, Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin is looking to carry over his success into the final week of the regular season. This week, the Commanders are taking on the Dallas Cowboys. In their previous matchup, Dallas put a beat down on Washington during a blowout where McLaurin had a middling performance overall. However, the fifth-year receiver saw 11 targets during that matchup, so he was involved at least. With the rough matchup and the Commanders having no reason to win, McLaurin isn't a very inspiring option, but he's still a backend WR2 in Week 18.--Jack Camenzind - RotoBaller

2 months agoThe Athletic's Ben Standig writes that Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin's agent is expected to seek a new deal for the second-team All-Pro pass-catcher this offseason after recording his fifth straight 1,000-yard receiving season in 2024. In 17 regular-season games, McLaurin had 82 receptions on 117 targets for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns as rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels elevated the entire offense. McLaurin added 14 catches on 23 targets for 227 yards and three touchdowns in the team's three playoff games. Going into the 2025 campaign, McLaurin's seventh in the league, he will be much more expensive in fantasy drafts as a WR1 after Daniels' impressive rookie season. In his six years in the NFL, McLaurin has 38 total touchdowns in 97 regular-season games and is averaging 65.8 yards per game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

2 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin caught three of his seven targets for 51 yards and a score during their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship. McLaurin's best play of the afternoon came in the second quarter when he scored on a 36-yard catch-and-run. However, during the second half, the top wideout was quiet as Jayden Daniels directed most of the passing attack toward tight end Zach Ertz. His 51 yards and seven targets placed him second among pass-catchers, only behind Ertz in both statistics. McLaurin has found the back of the end zone in each playoff game. During the regular season, McLaurin enjoyed a career season as he found the back end zone 13 times, which set a new franchise record. He also eclipsed the century mark for the fourth straight season. McLaurin should be viewed as a solid WR2 with upside heading into the 2025 campaign with Daniels under center.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

2 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin carries high-end WR1 value in the NFC title game when he faces the Philadelphia Eagles. Last weekend, in their victory over the Detroit Lions, he caught four of his six targets for 87 yards and a score. This was his third straight game in which he found the end zone. Since Week 12, McLaurin has averaged an incredible 19.3 PPR points per game. During this eight-game stretch, the Ohio State product averaged 68.1 yards per game with nine total TDs. The last time he faced this Philadelphia secondary, he caught five passes for 60 yards and a score. Operating as Washington's clear No.1 wideout, he is a high-end WR1 in all DFS competitions this weekend, as the Washington offense is centered around him.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

2 months agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin caught four of his six targets for 87 yards and a score during their upset victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday evening. McLaurin's best play of the evening came on a screen pass, which he took for a 58-yard score. Later in the fourth quarter, McLaurin would catch a crucial fourth down reception to keep a Washington drive alive. The 29-year-old has now found the back of the end zone in each of his previous three games. Last weekend, during their wild-card victory, McLaurin caught seven of his ten targets for 89 yards and a score. The former Ohio State Buckeye carries elite WR1 upside throughout the remainder of the postseason.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
