1 year agoPittsburgh Pirates second base prospect Termarr Johnson was promoted to High-A Greensboro on Tuesday. Johnson, 19, has improved every month of the season and was on fire during the month of July where he showed plenty of power. Overall, Johnson hit .244 with 13 homers, 44 RBI and seven stolen bases in Single-A. The fourth overall pick in 2022 has begun his professional career hot out of the gate and earned a promotion due to that. His defense still needs sharpening, but his bat has looked strong enough for him to potentially be a fast riser in the Pirates system. With the ability to hit for power at a tough position in terms of fantasy, Johnson should be rostered in dynasty leagues, but managers in redraft leagues shouldn't expect to hear his name for a couple seasons.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
