Tejay Antone To Undergo Tommy John Surgery
3 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Tejay Antone (forearm) announced on his Twitter account that he was scheduled to undergo Tommy John Surgery on Friday. This will be his second Tommy John surgery. His first came in 2017 when he was in the minors. Antone was sidelined for about two months due to a right forearm strain. He made his return to the diamond this past week, but wasn't able to complete an inning before feeling something in his elbow. Antone was one of the best arms out of the Reds bullpen this year. Over 23 games and 33.2 innings, he had a 2.14 ERA, a 0.89 WHIP and a 33.1% strikeout rate.
