5 years agoPlenty of teams are pursuing Chicago White Sox closer Alex Colome as the trade deadline approaches on Wednesday. Colome has been everything the Pale Hose had hoped for when they acquired Colome in the offseason, as he has 21 saves and a .079 batting average against in 2019. As such, the White Sox are hoping to hold onto him in hopes of contending in 2020. He is sporting a 2.21 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 32 K's in 40 2/3 frames. If he's dealt, there's no guarantee he'd be closing with a new team. Aaron Bummer or Evan Marshall could see ninth-inning duties in Chicago if Colome lands with another squad.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
