Los Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward had to be carted off the field during Saturday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The 29-year-old was hit in the face by a pitch from Jays' pitcher Alek Manoah. Ward was able to stand and was applying pressure to both his nose and face. The assumption is that Ward is going to undergo further testing to determine the severity of the issue. The Angels should release more information on his status later in the day.--Andy Webb
