Tarik Skubal Tosses Seven Innings Of Two-Run Ball On Saturday
4 months agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Tarik Skubal tossed seven innings of two-run ball en route to earning his 12th victory of the season on Saturday. He allowed five hits and two free passes while striking out eight. His one blemish came in the opening frame off a two-run shot by Minnesota third baseman Royce Lewis. The southpaw has gone at least six innings deep in his past six starts and has only allowed more than two earned runs once in this span. Overall, the 27-year-old is near at the top of the current AL Cy Young race as he boasts a 2.35 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and a 24:154 BB:K ratio. Skubal is on pace to finish as the top pitcher in all fantasy formats this season and should always be considered in DFS, no matter the matchup.
