Tajae Sharpe Agrees To One-Year Deal With Bears
3 years agoFree-agent wide receiver Tajae Sharpe agreed to a one-year contract with the Bears on Wednesday night. Sharpe, a 2016 fifth-round pick, began his career in Tennessee, where he spent his first three active seasons before landing in Minnesota and, most recently, Atlanta. However, he hasn't done much throughout his tenure in the league, compiling only 117 catches for 1,397 yards and eight touchdowns. He also dealt with a foot injury that kept him out the entire 2017 campaign. Nonetheless, the 27-year-old will not only have competition for looks, but he'll also be catching throws from Justin Fields, a quarterback who is still developing. As a result, Sharpe likely won't do much for fantasy managers, so it's best he remains undrafted in all formats.
