Taijuan Walker Undergoes Successful Tommy John Surgery
7 years agoArizona Diamondback starting pitcher Taijuan Walker (elbow) underwent successful Tommy John surgery on Wednesday to repair the UCL tear in his right elbow. The 25-year-old righty is done for the season after making just three starts this season. He should be back on the mound at some point in 2019, but it will likely be in June or July. He should obviously be dropped in all redraft leagues. It's unclear who is going to take his spot in the Diamondbacks rotation in the long term.
