T.Y. Hilton Wants To Be A Colt For Life
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, who is entering a contract year in 2020, said, "I wanna be a Colt for life, but it takes two sides to get it done." Hilton is scheduled to make $14.5 million this season. The two sides started talking about an extension before the coronavirus lockdown began, and Hilton hopes they can rekindle those talks soon. The 30-year-old played in just 10 games due to injury in 2019, catching a disappointing 45 passes for 501 yards and five touchdowns. But with quarterback Philip Rivers under center for at least this season, Hilton has a great chance to bounce back as a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 with better health.
