T.J. Warren Plays Key Role In Win Over Toronto
5 years agoIndiana Pacers small forward T.J. Warren had a big role in Monday's overtime win against Toronto, recording 24 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and two blocks. He was the team's best scorer alongside Myles Turner, shooting 10-for-19 from the field and 2-for-7 from downtown. Warren now has two 20-plus point outings in the past three games, but there's also a nine-point dud between them, so the 26-year-old forward is prone to inconsistency. He doesn't get enough shots to be offensively relevant sometimes either. That might also be the case in Friday's clash with the Heat where Warren will be the first choice to slow down Jimmy Butler.
