T.J. Rivera Suffers Setback
6 years agoNew York Mets infielder T.J. Rivera (knee) suffered a setback after leaving a rehab game with soreness in his surgically repaired elbow, and the Mets are shutting him down for around 10 days. Rivera hasn't played at all this year, but he does have a career .304/.335/.445 slash line in 106 games with the Mets in two years, although he's only hit a total of eight homers in that time. The non-contending Mets could use Rivera later this year as a utility guy, but fantasy owners shouldn't hold their breath for him.
