6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos recorded his first point of the season in Saturday's big 8-2 win over Columbus, collecting a power-play assist on the team's sixth goal of the night. He also had three shots on goal and ended the night with a plus-one rating. Stamkos skated with Brayden Point and Yanni Gourde, who both scored in the game, so the Bolts captain might feel a bit disappointed that he didn't get in on the act. He's had a quiet start to the season, but there's a chance to pick up some good momentum now with the team playing two poor defensive sides Carolina and Detroit next.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
