Steven Duggar May Need Surgery
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Steven Duggar (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a labrum tear in his shoulder. Doctors recommend surgery, but he could also go the rehab route. Manager Bruce Bochy said that if Duggar has surgery, he will be ready for the start of next season. Either way, it's looking like Duggar won't play again this season. He had become an option for those in NL-only leagues, hitting .255 with two home runs, 17 RBI and five steals in 141 at-bats. Gorkys Hernandez will be the primary center fielder for the Giants for the remainder of 2018.
