Sterling Shepard Ruled Out Against Buffalo
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Bills. That was the expectation, as Shepard had yet to be cleared to practice this week. With Golden Tate still serving a suspension and now Shepard ruled out, the G-Men will likely use Bennie Fowler, Russell Shepard and Cody Latimer in three-receiver sets against a Buffalo defense that is very good at shutting down the passing game. It doesn't bode well for the Giants offense as a whole this Sunday, and they'll likely lean heavily on running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Evan Engram. Hopefully Shepard can get cleared ahead of Week 3. Make sure you remove him from your starting lineups.
