Sterling Shepard Placed In Concussion Protocol
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) has been placed in concussion protocol. This is the second concussion this season for the fourth-year wide receiver. A firm timetable has not been set yet, but further updates should be released by the Giants shortly. The Giants have a tough matchup against the Patriots on Thursday night in Week 6, which won't give Shepard enough time to get cleared and back on the field. Golden Tate and Evan Engram should be the primary beneficiaries if Shepard ends up missing a significant amount of time, although fantasy owners may want to stay away from the Giants receiving options in Week 6.
