Sterling Shepard Generating Buzz At Giants Camp
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard has been making noise and receiving praise from coaches at camp. Shepard is the most experienced receiver on the team and has seen 100-plus targets every season he's played 16 games. In 2020, he was targeted 90 times in just 12 games. With Kenny Golladay missing weeks due to a hamstring issue, there are plenty of vacant targets to go around. Rookie Kadarius Toney was drafted highly by the Giants this past draft, but historically rookie receivers tend to have lower fantasy output than veterans. Shepard is currently going in the late rounds– often undrafted– and could present a stash value should Golladay miss regular season play.
