Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton Questionable
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receivers Sterling Shepard (hamstring), Darius Slayton (hamstring) and John Ross (hamstring) are all listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers. Shepard returned from a two-game absence in Week 6 to catch 10 of 14 targets for 76 yards, but he aggravated his hamstring in practice on Thursday and is now up in the air. If he is able to play against Carolina, he'll have WR2 upside with both Kenny Golladay (knee) and rookie Kadarius Toney (ankle) ruled out. Slayton hasn't played since Week 3 and has only seven receptions for 127 yards and a score in his three games. The only healthy Giants receivers are Dante Pettis and Collin Johnson, so they could see expanded roles against the Panthers this weekend.
