New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore has been in a contract standoff with the team, but he still doesn't expect to be traded after skipping mandatory minicamp last month. The Patriots haven't replaced Gilmore with another cornerback, and the two sides are expected to ramp up contract talks at some point before training camp at the end of the month. The 2019 Defensive Player of the Year is coming off a torn quadriceps and is entering the final year of his contract, so his trade value isn't terribly high. The 30-year-old four-time Pro Bowler played in just 11 games last year, recording 37 tackles (30 solo), one interception, three passes defensed and one forced fumble. When healthy, though, Gilmore remains one of the best shutdown corners in the league.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
